Through this medium, the collective will of the populace is transmutated into physical reality.

In Their Own Story

The sand shifted beneath her feet, though she knew no wind blew in this place. Before her stretched an ocean of dunes that reached forever, silent and still. Then, a sound echoed—not from the air, but from within her bones. A voice, ancient and weary, spoke directly into her mind. She looked up to see a figure standing atop a distant ridge, building something massive out of dust and will. The figure turned, eyes filled with an eternity of sorrow, and reached out a hand. In that instant, the world outside ceased to exist; there was only the sand, the voice, and the terrible weight of two thousand years of waiting.
